Golden Ball Challenge
Each group will be given a Golden Ball that will be used toward the Team Competition. The Golden Ball MUST be played in rotation among participating players in the group (can be 2, 3 or 4 golfers- not all golfers in the group have to participate), during the course of normal play. The order of play of the Golden Ball will be determined by your team. Once a rotation is established for Golden Ball play please keep the Golden Ball in the same rotation of players throughout the round. (EG) Player 1 plays the Golden ball on hole 1, player 2 on hole 2, player 3 on hole 3, player 4 on hole for, player 1 on hole 5, player 2 for hole 6 and so on.
Scoring
Please record the score for your Golden Ball in the space provided on your scorecard. The rotation must stay the same throughout the round, the player hitting the Golden Ball will mark down the number of strokes they made on the hole.
If the Golden Ball is lost, the team must record a 10 on that hole and all subsequent holes UNLESS they have purchased additional Golden Balls as insurance. If no team finishes the round with the Golden ball, the team that went the furthest into the round with the lowest golden ball score for that number of holes will be declared the winner. If multiple teams finish the tournament with the original Golden Ball then the lowest Golden ball score wins the team competition. If there is a tie score, the Commissioner will determine the tie-breaker and declare the winning team.
